Hey, so I'm about to start a rebuild on my 95 sl and I was looking at a vr-4 short block from Mitsubishi. Does anyone know if the sl heads with work with a vr-4 short block?

Are you planning to go turbo? The vr-4 short block would have the turbo lower-compression pistons preinstalled. If you bolt it all together, your A/F ratio will be way off more than your ECU would be able to compensate. It would maybe run, but like total crap and have no power.
