Scotty this is good news,
Check timing is always good. Pressure test without compressor or any flash equipment. Try this, Old motorbike tube. Cut whatever distance you need either side of valve. Old truck radiator hose. Cut hole in middle. Put m/bike tube inside hose with valve poking out hole. Clamp whole deal where you want to test pressure. Find bycycle tyre pump and start pumping. Measure with your car tyre guage. No exspense spared bush mechanic here. Youll find all that at your local dump. Probably even a bycycle attatched to the pump good enough to ride home. Townies are wasteful, always check dump first!

Scotty, Cheaper, easier, More better! Pretty much everything in the picture would be in a tyre place skip bin. If you need bigger flexible hose ask for "donkey dick" comes in all sizes, bends every which way, good for getting old trucks you can't get parts for mobile. I didnt get your DVD yet but it has to go through a time warp to get here.
Probably Wednesday.

Have Fun. I can make air leak anywhere so youll do it easy.

VCU is shot apparently. Didn't even get 15 minutes on the dyno. I'm going to sulk for a little bit and see what I'll do from there. Thanks to Mads and Pete for the help offer.

Scotty
Hmmm, That's not the right outcome. Was looking for a win for you this arvo. I'll help sulk (good at it ) but not for too long.

HI Scotty,
Just interested. I get that the bad news is front drive wasn't up to speed but what about the good news. Was your engine running well after a tune up? Did you drive back to yours with it running right or is it still at the workshop? No tune up yet and power not getting to all wheels would be bad news.

Got it now! Modern tune up. WOT= Blow all cobwebs out, hope she holds together, check and adjust car brain.

well you see, Scotty's Brain has never quite been right since installation :p
Michael, thats a bit rough. Tell you what though. What brain I have left has just realised that when I can't just jump in, turn the key and drive off judgement day will have arrived.
" DYNO " sounds frightening and expensive. Going to watch carefully for Scotty's next exciting episode so I know what's in store for me.

If we go back to 08-11-2012, 01:14 PM this was when the thread was high jacked and locked against the wish of many users.

Lets see thats 5.8 years, that reminds me. Did you get the sail panels on yet?
I'll bet he did. Hope we are going to hear bigger news than that.
2 Heavy on the road ?

Yet another lame ass update - went and saw the shop the other day. The radiator I bought didn't bolt straight in but that's been sorted. Had to buy a slimline fan as one of the fans was too close to the turbo. Fingers crossed that comes in tomorrow and maybe she gets turned over this weekend.
Best of luck for the weekend Scotty.
If I got to wait another ten years to see you driving it I'll be seventy.
Damn, I hope I make it !!

Got an email late last night - the girls up and running. They washed and cleaned her as well as drove her to the petrol station for guzoline. Apparently the Precision 880cc injectors (low impedance) I was running were no good for my new ecu so he threw in some spare GTR injectors (high impedance) and she runs so much better now. I feel like my girl is very close to being back in my arms..... I mean in the driveway. I said driveway.
Good news !!
Picture required,- You, driving, background needs to be blurred.
