anybody has step by step instructions to do it ?
Whats the tourque specs on the rod cap bolts?

1st off,,, why are you replacing the rod bearings?
if you got knock, the crank will probably have to come out to get turned...
if your just doing it as precaution before any knock, then i would suggest you go ahead and do yourself a favor and include a NEW OIL PUMP...
anyway ...disconnect the battery...
drain oil...
you have to remove plastic from below...
remove:downpipe, transfer case, starter, oil pan
then you can just remove the bottom caps for the rods and rotate the crank manually to loosen the caps and remove the top bearing... one by one of course...
the oil pump will also include removing the drivers tire,a/c ,p/s belts... crank pulley and timing belt... then the oil pump.

torque for rod cap bolts: 38 ft.lbs
