I just installed my type RFL BOV and there is red liquid like stuff where the horn is and I am wondering if thats normal or what it is. It seems to be working fine. Does it need to be oiled? Also what is that red liquid crap?

yes, you need to keep it oiled otherwise it may stick in the open position. It's probably something like WD40... my guess anyway
