I was experimenting with my newly acquired 1991 VR-4 and came across this little issue. When I push the clutch all the way in and pop the car in reverse, I'll slowly take my foot off the clutch until it JUST engages. When I do this, I get a slight clunking sound. Almost like the gear is being forcefully dropped into place and is engaging hard. Was wondering if anyone else has this or has noticed this in their TT. It's not a huge concern of mine, but I just want to know that my baby is safe =)

Also, I tried this same experiment, but put the car in 1st and I got no clunking sound. Only happens in reverse.

*edit* - Wanted to add that the sound appears to be coming from the rear. Maybe the rear differential?
