Well, my perfect car is no longer perfect.

Does anybody know how to replace the lightbulbs the light up the time/radio-station display on the factory 1991 radio/cassette/CD-player (or, indeed, if they even *can* be replaced)?

I am here assuming that there really are lightbulbs inside there, but for all I know it could be some other means of illumination. In any case, it looks like there are actually two lightbulbs, one that lights up the left half of this display, and one that lights up the right half, and this morning I noticed that the right half of the display is a lot darker than the left half, so I'm assuming that some lightbulb somewhere has burned out.

The black digits of the LCD display of the time (or radio station) is itself just fine - it's only the back-lighting that is the problem.

You should be able to disassemble the unit, as I did with the head in my Galant when I wanted to cull its face out for security purposes...
