When I got it back from the shop it drove great, not a single problem shifting, all 4 gears worked wonderfully. One day it all the sudden stops working. No forward motion for more than a few yards and done in every forward and reverse gear. The fluid is still a bright red, smells like brand new ATF. No chunks in the pan, no metal, clean filter. I put it on Jack stands and let the wheels move freely and they start to roll and then stop, and start again. reverse, i have to give it some throttle and then it will engage and do the roll > stop > roll > stop. I suspect the torque converter may have gone bad or there is a problem with the valve body. What happened? Has this happened with any of you and how did you fix it?
