according to the directions on the site, it says to jump the two terminals, and cover the rest with electrical tape. Does this mean you don;t use the relay anymore? In the directions, it looks like you just use the two terminals and cover up the rest....

correct. I keep my relay in my gloovebox in case iI need it.

Yeah but from what I hear the mod doesn't really do anything.....

It all depends on what you call "not doing anything".

If your relay is working properly, no, you won't notice any difference.

But, if your car is 10+ years old and the relay is old and its contacts corroded / tarnished, you will notice a great improvement. It all depends on if your pump is getting 8 volts at WOT or 12.

It's quick and it's free. No better way to check the relay operation and by jumpering it you remove the risk of the problem ever happening to you.

I'd hope the car already has a big fuel pump and injectors since it has big turbos. The new fuel pump should have been rewired with 10 gauge straight from the battery too. In that case all this mod does is make sure the new relay receives proper trigger voltage.
