Yes yes, I know, I know, its not time for me to buy one yet, but I saw this ad, and this Idea poped in my head.

Say....if there was a 94 VR4 with 93,000miles, and the guy was asking $12,900...and the car still has a 1yr warranty.

Would you guys think its a good idea to buy the car...............do some 6000rpm clutch dumps here and there:D, "Filter out" all the weak parts (tranny, engine, etc), and get them replaced with the 1yr warranty?:D:D And then have a practically new car to make into a street monster?

Thanks!:D

Well, I would think with a hald decent mechanic, they would be able to tell the difference between something just going wrong and obvious abuse. So I'd be real careful about that one.

agreed, and besides, I doubt the warranty would cover your clutch...mine came with a one year and the clutch started to slip two days after I bought it  , and they don't cover it since it's a "wear item"
