Parts should be in shortly, will notify everyone once their parts have shipped. Going to be reviewing the videos I had put together in the past to see if they are complete enough to be provided as guidance. I will most likely be amending or creating a new video for everyone as this assembly may be a bit tricky if it is your first time taking it apart. If yours has not yet failed, I suggest you clean and lubricate the tracks as friction due to dried out and contaminated lubricant is partially at fault.

It would be great if you could specify on the video the most risky spots to be lubricated. I'd love to know how to prevent any potential issues since mine is fully functional for now.

Waiting on those people to pay. or just cancel them so we can get our part.
Not sure why we would have to wait for others to pay when the parts are ready to ship. Or at least some are.

However, I am guessing life has gotten in the way and I hope all is well and he is just busy.

Any update?

It looks like he was on a few days ago. I like to give people the benefit of the doubt but I'll most likely be filing a PayPal claim if we don't hear back. Would like to get the part but I'd rather not wait when I'm outside the PayPal claim time frame and cannot take any action.........

Hi everyone apologies for the delay, I appreciate everyone's patience. Usually I'm not one to be late on anything, but between a new engineering job and issues with the last batch I received I didn't have time to follow up on 3SI as I was waiting for a replacement batch to come in. If you originally placed a part request and would like a refund please let me know. I will gladly refund people who do not want to wait; this is all on me.

Originally the parts seemed fine, but I noticed a bit of binding. Fitment wasn't great on the spare sunroof assembly I have laying around. I just got back my 98 3000GT with the power tilt sunroof to test fit these against as well. They all needed modification... parts were not produced to agreed tolerances.

New batch is in and the new manufacturer promised to actually check tolerances on each part before shipping.

stjredstorm12, I have been on the forums since 2010 and have always been honest. I will get these out, once again apologies for the delay; doesn't help that my new job is classified (no email or internet access during the day). I will try to get on every night until these parts ship to keep everyone up to date, as I have new updates, and answer any questions.

"It would be great if you could specify on the video the most risky spots to be lubricated. I'd love to know how to prevent any potential issues since mine is fully functional for now. "
In the videos I mention the critical spots to lubricate. I will make sure these are highlighted, thanks for the tip.

Please send payment either through Zelle or PayPal. If sending thru PayPal please elect to cover the fees if you seek to have buyer protection. I don't ship thru PayPal so it doesn't do me much justice to pay for the fees on my end. I am doing this on the side to help people in addition to myself towards restoring my 3S cars, not as a business. Thank you.

Zelle: [email protected]
Paypal: paypal.me/project3si or [email protected]

$70/pair (shipping included to anywhere in the USA), for international PM me.

Add me to the list please.
Added to the list for 1 pair.
