So my power steering pressure line rusted through and sprung a leak. Any suggestions?? Do I have to go to a Mitsu dealer and order the whole line? Are there aftermarket lines for the 92 VR4? Anyone have a spare lying around?
Thanks for the help.
Whoops. The fact that it rusted through didn't seem to register to me. The flex line that goes from the hard line to the PS pump is available at Autozone and other aftermarket stores. The hard line is probably only available from Mitsubishi.
Thanks for the suggestions, questions and comments.
I did go to the Mitsu dealer and order the line. It is the one running from front to rear and is about 5 feet long and cost about $98.00. Being a high pressure line and with special ends for fitting, it was the only way to go.
Now for the installation.
Hi gawdzinner. I'll try. There needs to be more info on this problem because it seems to be common. I'm wondering if the power steering lines have rusted or cracked, what other lines are getting ready to go, brakes, etc.
I noticed a slight leak at the front rack, but I plan to drop the rear subframe over the winter and have a close look at all connections. I'd rather not do an AWS delete, instead I'd rather do an AWS prevent-leak lol
Like the title says I'm looking for help on two different things. First off I'm looking to get a Momo Steering Wheel to replace my stock one. I've read all over that you pretty much just lose the horn, have to jury rig it and one post I found on here from a few years ago where someone mentions a...
Dang, I am redoing some 99 headlights, but I don’t know which projector lens goes where?! One has a flat spot on the lens and the other is completely round. Didn’t notice it taking it off. Can anyone advise which one it is. Low or high?
ok i am really disappointed that i can't find someone that's got a y-pipe to sell to me :( . But i will feel better if someone could let me know if it is possible to make a "homemade" gasket, preferrably of silicone(so it isn't as terribly cheap as the POS gasket that comes stock). I am asking...

Mine was blank for a bit today before the car warmed up and blew warm air and then came back on. The number of resistors and whatnot to replace doesn't give me a warm and gushy feeling, so...
I could not find any recent posts with a specific part number to use for the active aero limit switches. I measured mine to make sure I had the right part and just wanted to pass on a current part number you can easily order from digikey or mouser. I installed these on my car and the spoiler...
