Hi, I read through about 100 threads, but didn’t find an answer. My ‘99 3000GT SL driver seat won’t slide back. It moves in all other directions, but not back. No sound when moving the switch back either. Seat is so far forward, now, I can barely get into and out of the car.

Unable to take the seat out on my own (medical issues), and there’s no one to help. I’m not electrically-inclined, but can follow instructions (any videos or photos would help a lot). I couldn’t find a shop repair manual.

A few threads mentioned a limit switch, a fuse, and ETAC, but no details as to what they are, where they are, how to check them, and/or what to do with them.

My apologies for my ignorance and for asking for dumbed-down answers, but would appreciate whatever help you can kindly provide. Thanks...

Very good video, he explains well, but I couldn’t open the PDFs with the wiring info. Since the seat goes forward, up, and down, but just doesn’t go back; and the switch doesn’t make a sound when pushing back, it might be the switch. Any suggestions where to get a switch or how much one would cost? The switch looks hardwired, and I couldn’t find the connector. Too hard fumbling around under the seat with flashlight and mirror.
