Hi there, I have a car that's being offered to me for cheap but I can't see the car in person until auction is over. I think this is a dodge stealth between 95-96 based on front bumper images found online. I know these images are horrible but can anyone tell me what they can about this car based off these images? Is there a way to know if it's turbo or N/A? They didn't provide engine pic unfortunately. Thanks I know nothing about these cars but some of them appear to be valuable!

Well it's not a turbo, at least the center gauge is not for turbo. So that's unfortunate. Looks like most of the parts are all there, but you'd have to put in a lot of work to put it back together.

Other things, that's a second gen 3000gt bumper I think that's on it's side(in the second picture)? So 94-98, and I believe that's a 94-99 radiator as well, the early gens were slightly different. So the year is certainly probably close to what you were saying I bet.

Thanks for the quick response! Currently I can get this for 100 as is. But they won't tell me vin or odometer , don't know if it will run etc. If it's not worth atleast 800 as is I'll probably just pass.

Like you said this thing needs alot of work but if it was a turbo or worth doing I wanted yalls opinion. It sucks not being able to inspect car but that's why it's so cheap.

So buy it for 100 or no go!?

So this might be a Mitsubishi? I know nothing about these cars and dont see any markings. These pics are so bad but I noticed it only has 1 muffler tip out the back and somewhere read all the valuable ones had dual exhaust?

Turbos had the double exhaust yeah, and as pointed out it doesn't have the right center gauge cluster for turbo, the 3 center gauges has a boost gauge for the turbo(and that one doesn't). That's a lot of boxes around, so I figure the person was either putting it together, or doing a conversion of some sort.

If you have the time/energy/effort, you can probably part it out for more then 100, but that's time and effort on you. Might be a good roller, but without being able to see it, it's hard to say rust wise. Could be a fun project car if you wanna just sorta learn on it. If you mess something up, you won't feel so bad seeing as how you just spent a few hours moving it and...well 100$ haha.

As far as I can tell That is a pile of parts that used to be a first gen ('91-'93) SOHC base Stealth.
The hood has the "Scarab" cut-outs making it a first gen, and the distributor with silver steel valve cover makes it SOHC.
No turbo, no DOHC.
I'm with RealMcCoy on this, you wouldn't get enough for it to be worth just putting it back together, never mind fixing whatever else is wrong with it.
Plus that door took a nasty hit, it's probably just the door but the way it doesn't close tight would have me worried about frame damage.

You guys are awesome, thanks a million. I'll pass on this one, just got excited when I seen some of these cars are bringing 20K. I had to find out what this particular car was!
20K is a mint low millage Twin Turbo car. A mint SOHC low millage is more in the 5-7K and you would put more into that car putting it back together no including a new engine if it needed it.

Now if its not far from you and you want to make some money parting it out you could but dont expect to make $$$ because you will still have to put work into dismantling it and it will take quite a while to sell the part.

Good demolition derby car??? Front end is already apart so weld in some rails and get it running.

But that's a solid pass. Even at $100, it would be weeks and tons of hours to get back on the road. The trans is probably the most valuable thing in there at maybe, what? $600-800 or so?

Some of those bolts for the fuel rails and the ignition wires look clean, but that's the only thing that caught my eye.

I'll throw in my guess. First gen stealth non-turbo as others said. Why would anyone rip apart a car in so many different odd places at the same time and hide so much to sell??? I think someone bought this car junked and stripped it this specific way to pull every single VIN plate and VIN stickers and VIN stamped parts that match and placed in at least 20+ unique places when the car was assembled. Those matching numbered parts/pieces can be used to replace the same parts on a different but similar enough stolen car of high value to hide/change its identity. After all, it is a STEALTH right ?? Why rip off just the dash top like this......this pic shows the missing riveted VIN plate.....second pic is a normal example.

But it looks like a first Gen bonnet. Might be a mixture of parts.
