Hi guys,
since 2-3 days ago,when I pushed my car in 3rd gear,around
4500rpm,there are a sudden engine cut off. It's not really
extreme, the engine feels like jerking and then it continues to
pull.I'm guessing this is a fuel cut.Am I correct?I can feel the
fuel cut in 3rd gear is stronger than in 2nd and 1st.
I just installed NGK Copper plugs and Brand New Magnecor 8.5
mm wires about 2,400 miles ago,so I don't think it's the cause.
I installed my MBC at the same time, but I never used it,I turn
the boost all the way down. The other mod that I have is K&N
FIPK.
According to my research, the best way is to run bigger fuel injector/pump/upgraded ECU.Do I really need to have those
mods?I'm not planning to crazy mod this car since this is my
daily driver.Do you think the "free fuel relay" mods will help?
On a side note, this occation just started to happend a few days
ago since the weather is cold and dry(about 40-50 deg).Isn't
that kind of weather suppose to be good for our cars?
Please help me guys.....I just lost to an S 2000 because of this.
Any info/opinions will be very appreciated.Thx in advance
