Nice weight result! I wish I could get that low...Been so long since I weighed mine, but I'm pretty sure everything I've done since probably added weight, lol.

Awesome weight! You put the ol' girl on a diet!
Thanks! I only went around the neighborhood on Wednesday, but the 4+ LW is awesome so far! Very crisp engagement

Not sure why, but I love the corner balancing process. It’s a little frustrating at times when one thing changes another and you have to go back and forth, but so fun to watch and the results are worth it. Keep at it!
I bet! Do not get me wrong though lol I feel that I will enjoy the process much like tuning a car for its potential. I was just tired and not in the right mindset to focus solely on it so soon. But for sure, I will post how that progresses!

hahaha this manual rack of yours is quite a beast XD guess I was a little spoiled from the other, lighter cars with smaller wheel/tire setups. The freed up space and feedback while driving are all worth it though. It is too soon to tell if I want to get an even lighter set.

"Pit Road M / GReddy oil cooler with -10 lines! Huge b*tch makes my old Setrab look like stock lol... should be around a total capacity of 7.5-8qts now"

On Friday, I/we determined that the front turbo was blowing some oil (hooray for the next issue heh). I was unable to find any good replacements locally, and I also did not want more downtime sending it/them out for rebuild and/or upgrade. Chris (Rvenge) pointed out extremepsi's holiday weekend sale, so I placed an order for two MHI EVO3's to be overnighted from PA to CA.... looks like they are scheduled for delivery by 1030A this morning - woo! For now, I only intend on swapping the front (undo band clamp for a quick and easy task).

On a more random note: I took a leftover silencer from a JIC Magic Twin Spartan exhaust and managed to finesse it into my Blitz Nur Spec R haha. That will at least provide some peace of mind while racking up miles out here.

man that sucks! But looks like your well on your way to having a fix and moving forward. I hate setbacks
Hahaha oh believe me bro... I was annoyed but glad it was just the front. It should only take a few minutes to swap that just by leaving the hotside intact. Package made it to my area over an hour ago, so I am just waiting for UPS lol (coffee mug in hand)

Alan - What plugs you running? Specifically heat range? I"m debating on mine. I'm running an 8 now at 24 ish psi (E70). Haven't looked at them yet, but they've always looked good in terms of heat, but I think some would recommend going to a 9 or even 10 range...thoughts?

For break-in, I am just using 7's @ 0.030" but will switch back to (4554) 8's @ 0.026-0.028" for high boost. I am K.I.S.S. (for now) with new ignition everything and HKS DLI + tweaked dwell in AEM, BUT I am considering the COP kit from Chris/Rvenge, once available. FWIW, Dmitri just re-gapped new 4554's @ 0.020" and is lighting off his 7675's 30psi with only a KB BAS and ECUFlash... that is on E85+Meth too! Of course, this is a highly debated topic. Some like the Champion plugs (no gap), and some like going even colder at 9-10. Just like everything else, adjust to your build, right?

To follow up: UPS arrived exactly at 1030A lulz... longest wait ever. The swap was as easy as I described above, and the front turbo was out in 10m while pacing myself. I drove a few more miles yesterday and am trying to decide if heat cycling the clutch will be adequate versus the long ass 500-mile recommendation. Perhaps 1-200 miles instead? Getting real ancy here... so I built maybe 2psi lol. "only 30psi more to go" -Dmitri

Hot idle oil pressure is pretty stout at ~30psi, and this is still on 40W.

Looks great btw!

Thanks and no, I do not recall that it was shimmed. The only thing I did was prime/pack the oil pump on the stand during assembly. Readings are with a VDO sending unit (at oil pump) and PLX module+gauge.

hahaha I needed a temporary solution since the original base broke off from the windshield. I tried a repair, but it did not last very long...

deeefinitely will shoot for <= 3,000 when the next round of changes take place (after the build has proven itself with results)

...still breaking-in hard at 33 miles, but the ancy side of me caved in and started logging+tuning WOT @ WG:

Video Clip << sounds great!

Built heads have drastically affected my AEM tune - thirsty ass bish... at least the oil has remained clean! All 7-8 quarts lol

I also pieced together the billet TC trifecta for later on:

Depending if my refreshed trans holds up to the abuse, I may be doing a built one with my spare sooner than later. No intentions of driving like a b*tch haha... hulk smash status.

Sorry guys... I realize that an update is overdue! Wife and I did a road trip vacation from SoCal to FL and back - beat my old record with 36 hours one-way lol.

Prior to leaving, I had my custom alignment performed by my ex-colleague and ASE underbody specialist. I wasted no time carrying out what I said I would do upon returning:

Falken Azenis RT615K+ wrapped around the ADVAN Racing TCIII

100-mile oil change came out clean again after a hard break-in

FIC1220 versus FIC880 (in hindsight, I should have opted for 1650cc)

Trimmed GM gaskets work like a charm! Way better than OE metal or paper.
I did order various sheets of Felpro as a backup and for future usage

Added both Dejon pipes now with larger K&N X-Stream filters (and condoms lol)

Panda fired right up (of course) and drove well - minor adjustments. At this point, I was ready to play "boost roulette" with the Hallman MBC haha! The first, immediate hurdle was ditching the silencer tip from the break-in period. It was causing so much backpressure with exhaust reversion - unbelievable how bad yet expected with this build and setup. 'sall good though and was interesting to witness, experience, and document the before/after

"24# mild boost checkpoint! est. 465AWHP VD SAE (+11 U/C) only 6-8psi more to go heh"

Video Clip of Pull <<

This actually serves as my baseline, SOOO not bad at all especially with a super safe and conservative tune. Third to 8k will yield better results once all is said and done. I am just waiting for the weather to cool down a bit before fine-tuning further; simultaneously preparing to take in the next 3/S for some work.

As I was telling Jeff, I am leaning toward spraying 2000cc's of meth on top as-is, but ProMeth components ain't cheap lol. Also, I am beginning to question and suspect the AMS 300-cell HFC as my next hurdle. We shall see... whatever happens and wherever it lands will probably be fine for now considering the weight *fingers crossed*

Damn, looking good - thing's got to be a rocket.
Thanks! It is a careful and steady process at this point :) slowly but surely...

"40# pressure test! I want ALL of the boost... lol"

"...cracked 500AWHP VD SAE (+13 U/C) - needs more sauce lol"

Sooo... getting there haha  nothing crazy as far as updates are concerned.

Why are you so shy to rev it? To hell with all the boost, I just wanna see a full pull. Probably creeping up on 600wheel there if you stayed in it.

LOL  I like to play games... j/k more of a method to my madness.

In all seriousness, there are two real reasons aside from living in suburbia:

1) I am still on NGK-7's @0.030-0.032" from break-in (did not toss in my 8's @0.028 yet)

2) Out of fuel haha... suspect is still back pressure and reversion from HFC as I experienced with the silencer tip early on. I should have gone with FIC1650's, TBH, but I will most likely spray meth on top.

Just for you, Jeff, I will wind it up to 8k from first gear, second, and maybe third whenever the next person goes for a joyride given things are calm here :D I do agree that power is/will continue to climb though.
