Have owned 4 3si's, and am now looking at a eclipse gsx for an everyday driver. Looking for pros and cons of this venture. Anyone with any experience with these cars.
TIA

I had a 92 GSX. one of the 6-4's, and I loved the car. It wasn't as fast as a 3/s, but it was fun. I had a lot of little problems with it, but nothing major. I definately reccomend a first gen over a second, though.

yes, my friend has a 2g non turbo, and he is going to install a turbo kit on his instead of buying a tubro 2g cause a good percentage of them have crankwalk. and if you end up with one that has it, youre in trouble cause you can fix it.

So he's putting a turbo on a nonturbo because he didn't wanna deal with crankwalk? I thought that it was caused by bad thrust bearings (not sure on that) which would be the same on both turbo and nonturbo right?

please edit your first post to say you've owned 4 3s's...not 3si's.

and get a 1st gen gsx/tsi AWD, they are tanks.

If you get an AT gsx you won't have to worry about crankwalk. The 2g's look soooo much nicer than the 1g's.
