We have a new event sponsor for the banquet. It is Technical Allies. Remember the friend I told you guys about that not only helped me check out Memphis last August (and spent his own money to do it!)? He's sponsoring the banquet. He wanted to help, and this is advertising for him. He's paying the full sponsor amount, but not accepting a paid hotel room. For that reason, he doesn't need to do prizes at the banquet. I felt that was fair. He's a web designer in NY. Getting closer... Also, the film maker is in touch - I'll be speaking with him tomorrow. Hopefully that'll be a good thing.

Uh, I wish. But let's put it this way... I've come up with ways to get it down to about $1500 with what Peggy and I can put in... It's risky, and it's a loan, but I'll do it to make this thing happen. I truly believe we'll make it up at the event.
