So I just dropped off my old high pressure fuel. Line to have a new one fabbed. The guy who is doing it told me he needs to know the maximum fuel pressure.
Can anyone tell me what it is?

Our cars run in 35-50 psi range, so a 100 psi maximum rated line will allow for plenty safety margin.

A turbo car running high boost can get north of 80lbs... I run 52psi base pressure and at 22lbs boost, that's 74 psi.

Most high pressure fuel hose has a max working pressure rating above 200psi.

Piggybacking on this thread a little because i had a question about the fuel return hose. Stock fuel system on a 91 VR4.

Does the fuel return hose that comes off the FPR just slide on both ends? So it can easily be replaced without needing any fittings, etc? I can see the FPR side but not really the other side with the battery still in place - i just want to make sure i can easily replace this section of those with one off the shelf of the appropriate length.

I was trying to pull off the fuel return hose yesterday because i was lifting the fuel rail to remove the injectors and the hose ripped at the nipple on the FPR side. There might be enough extra length for me to just reuse the existing hose but i might replace while i have other stuff off.

Yes, it's just standard fuel injection hose, clamped at each end. It's in the vinyl sleeve that gets really hard with age, you may need to replace that too, but sometimes you can warm it up with a heat gun and be able to work with it.
