Hello there, the wheels on my 3000gt are the stock ones and the chrome is peeling. Also, the stock fitment is non-existent, so I'm going to buy some BC coil overs at the same time. If I'm doing a 2-inch drop, would I go 18x8.5 +35 or 18x.95 + 38? I am pretty noobish when it comes to suspension/fitment so any help is appreciated

The 8.5 width will be a flatter face, the 9.5 width will have some concave. The +38 offset is just fine.

So the +38 offset will be fine for both? I'm leaning towards 18x9.5 bc the extra meat should help with traction. Thanks for the help!!

Yes +38 offset should be fine for both 8.5" and 9.5" widths. Obviously the 9.5" wheels will stick out/in 1/2" farther than the 8.5" wheels with the same offset.

No, they will not clear 1G calipers.

@heyovr4 The 5-spoke version might (Rota P45R), I think some members have run the +30 version of that wheel without issues. You'd have to search back through old posts to confirm.
