Launching:
I feel like I get more traction off the line with it, but I haven't been able to really test due to busted motor mounts. I'll get back to you on this. The real traction advantage is that it allows you to use stickier tires, which is my next mod.

Tearing through turns at high speed:
Holy fuck. All I have to say is HOLD ON. My tires did not squeal ONE TIME in 30 minutes of testing, and I was going as fast as I comfortably could (over 100) through these turns. Not even when I hit a wet spot in the road did the tires squeal. I feel like with Ground Control and a rear strut/sway bar this car could rival a lot of things on a road course or in autocross.
