Got a OBX diff which I rebuilt with the improved washers and hardware. Did the Clean up as well.

I don't trust myself to shim the new Diff correctly so I'm looking for a shop to do the install.

TRE (Team RIP Engineering) is up the road but I've not been able to get a hold of them.

Should I have any concern taking this to just a regular transmission shop? I don't know how finicky these are with shimming.

If you want I can walk you through it. Typically with the aftermarket diffs you will end up removing some shim.

All I know is it took me three days to get a Ford 8.8 pattern correct after a R&P swap. Total PITA.

It's not nearly as hard as setting up a ring and pinion

In our YouTube channel I show how to set the end case bearing end play using solder and it's the same process.
