Thanks man , I’m working up side down and it’s tight as heck..thinking about using my impact wrench…that’s y I figured I’d ask such a simple question..I gotta b 100% certain.righty tighty, lefty loosey, at least that's how it was on mine.
I have been soaking that bolt with wd-40 overnight . Hopefully that helps..I’m kinda hesitant to use my impact wrench because the one 24 mm impact socket I own is a deep one and this 24 mm bolt doesn’t have much depth to it..my socket wants to rock back and forth a little. I think I’m going to run to the hardware store today and see if I can’t get a 24 mm ratchet wrench.Impact wrench will probably help. If I dont have one available I find giving it a few taps will a hammer or going back and forth, left and right may break it loose. Of course a good coating of penetrating oil never hurt.
Okay thank you. I did get the fill bolt out really easily with my impact gun.WD-40 is not really a penetrating oil, its to display water. You want something like this.

Well I was going to just top it off because i thought it was leaking but when I got the bolt out oil actually came out and it was still golden looking. I was just like wow that’s still super clean. I just squirted some Mitsubishi oem lsd 90 per Chris from r’venge performance and I put the bolt back in and went on with my day. I hope I did the right thing😏Good advice from Paul H. Depending on your milage, you may want to go after the drain plug , and do a gear oil change.
