Hello! I've been searching the parts manual PDF for this hose, but have been unable to find it (so far). I'm finally getting around to doing a pressure test on my car, and PSI was not climbing, but rather blowing out the end/connection of this hose. So, I pulled it off, and I'm searching for a replacement part now. I went to O'Reilly, but they laughed at me. So here I am again. ;) Anyone know what this part # is, or where I might find a replacement? Thanks!

I'd cut the check valve out, get the closest size vacuum line they have, maybe a touch bigger, put the check valve in and put a new line in. One of the sites has a list of vacuum line sizes(stealth316, maybe?) that I used to order a bunch of line from.

Thanks! I cut out the check valve, but I'm still searching for the size of vacuum line to order. I'll continue digging. AutoZone and Oreilys both failed to find a vacuum line that the check valve would fit into. Hmmm.

Is that part of the clutch booster system? Do you really NEED the check valve?
Sorry to derail the sale thread, just curious..

Yes and no lol it technically is a "boost leak" but more than anything, you can definitely feel the pressure in the pedal especially the brake haha. The effort and feeling of trying to brake after boosting is an odd one.

To the OP: 3/8" should be fine. 5/16" is a bit on the smaller side. I believe that Chris Hill of Ninja Performance has also reported that the Evo ones are similarly shaped. They should be on his site.

Alan, I have been fighting a HEAVY clutch pedal since I bough my 92 TT.
Hans (please no comments, a good friend) did a clutch replacement a few years ago. No Love.
I have VERY stock stuff, but my clutch would make a left footed field goal kicker cry....

Help.

haha! That paints quite the picture. Do you know which exact clutch was installed? It could just be the nature of the beast with an upgraded pressure plate. If unsure, you can try popping a breather vent off from the bellhousing to peek inside. You can also use a scope through the fork boot for a better view. If it is absolutely stock-ish, as suggested, then a leak in the booster system is a possibility. All of the other typical wear-and-tear or failures tend to have opposite symptoms with a spongy pedal feel, low engagement point, etc.

I replaced the clutch booster.
Exedy clutch, stock flywheel.
I love my Stealth, but my recent achilles rupture and surgery leaves me wanting a MUCH softer clutch feeling (my Spyder is SUPER soft).

I was thinking about turning THAT line around to see if it helps...

(Hans is and can be the best 3s tech around, if he WANTS...)

Hmm that is indeed weird especially with an Exedy unit. Unless there is binding or resistance elsewhere, my only other thought is an over extended rod adjustment at the pedal itself. You can kind of rule that out based on the free play measurement and/or observing the slave cylinder's piston travel.

It definitely does not hurt to try your idea with the line though. While it is in your hands, you can try "testing" its operation too with the valve. Temporarily, you can also just use generic hose and see if that brings the pedal effort down back to normal.

Because you never asked :p and I never come on here!
OK. I'm asking.
Please help me make my clutch feel LESS heavy.
I don't want to have to sell it because I can't drive it.
PLEASE?

Bob. (my PM box is not too full...hint, hint)

First thing I'd do is check that the valve is in in the right direction.
