It's right there in their ads - "will learn new threats ... the microprocessor can be reprogrammed to learn new emerging radar and laser threats".

But if you read the Owner's Manual, there's no mention in there about how to do this.

Anybody ever done it, or know what the story is?

(And isn't it logical that new threats would require new hardware, not new software? After all, why wouldn't they just have written the software right the first time?)

It says it is reprogrammable, but i've never played with it to find out how, seems to work fine right now. It did go through a reset process on its own where it spazzed due to a low battery, then went through a reprogramming sequence by itself.
