Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Looks like IPS Motorsports has changed their name to Carlyle Racing. I discovered this while scrolling though instagram and thinking "man, that looks like the IPS corvette". Turns out they left all the IPS pictures in the account and simply changed the account name. I have not investigated the website yet, but it is likely they are at a different location since being ran out of the old building. Steer clear of these guys.

Read their about section lol. The car doesn't belong to IPS, it was built by IPS and is owned by a guy named Mike Carlyle. IPS was a sponsor, but clearly is no longer in business so is likely not sponsoring anymore, which would be why their name isn't on the car anymore in the new pictures.

He should have nothing to do with their social media account either - posting cars being built and tuned at ips...not just his corvette.

No, no, no. The owner of that Vette is now the owner of the former IPS. IPS was sold and no longer has any affiliation with Fabberege. The guy's name is Mark Carlyle, really cool guy, he built his car over the years at IPS and now owns it. Nothing shady going on there, they just have gone a different direction and no longer deal with this platform. They still have some of the same employees like Jeff if any of you remember him. He still has that 97 and it's still out back.

So Mark Carlyle bought IPS motorsports is what your saying? Im not sure why anyone would want ANYTHING to do with IPS motorsports, though the building seemed nice. If this is the case, hopefully he cleaned house of all the shady employees.

Our platform was one of the few that had problems with them. Most of the guys who dropped off their Camaro or Vette with a blank check didn't seem to run into the issues our guys had. I've never personally had an issue with them. They have had awful communication for years. But yes they are no longer dealing with the $5 shipped community that is us. They have quite a loyal following of vettes and camaros they will be more than fine. Dyno time is usually booked solid for months

AFAIK IPS is closed and no longer in existance. Jeff Yetzer and brother sold the company to Stas. company was having all kinds of issues none that im 100% certain on other than rumors. Stas opened up fabberge up as a R&D work of which I breifly worked there but couldnt pull the trigger to moved to columbus. The lease was up at the IPS facility on Green Meadow and was not renewed for a few reasons. Carlyle was supposed to buy and renew the lease but the deal fell threw. Mark Carlyle had his own buisness the entire time and still does.
