I've ordered an adjustable powerband from Kale Auto and since my car has turbos, should I adjust it for less torque or reprogram the ECU?

Most likely ECU wouldn’t need reprogramming, but you might need a brain reprogramming

No problem its good to use, I know from experience because I needed something to lube some some muffler bearings and only thing I could find was a 10 year old can of blinker fluid I had sitting around. Used it and muffler bearings still good after 5 years of use.

That reminds me - my first wife worked in hospitals on the admin side all her life. She calls me one day and says her boss (a cancer specialist) had a dead battery and can I come to the hospital and jump it for him. But he doesn't know a lot about cars so I don't want him scammed by just calling a tow truck.

I head out there and while we're hooking them up, I tell him that you have to reverse your jumper cables once in a while or the cables will fall apart.

Oh man, did I get in trouble for that! She was sooooo pissed off about that because he might be one of the best cancer specialists in the country but he didn't have any mechanical aptitude.

Yes, directional tires (Michelin Pilot Sport). Which bascially makes them left and right tires after mounting on the wheel. Don't want to swap sides after that, unless you plan to enter a backwards driving derby or something. And in the lady's case could have been put on the wrong side by a previous place. Just saying.

Are there no directional tires that also have an assymetric horizontal pattern that really have to stay on a specific side?

I bought one of these bad boys to make up for it. I'm figuring 92 pounds of boost off of stock turbos if I stretch the power band out all the way. Got to be careful though - a buddy of mine did that and when it snapped and his hood wound up on top of his apartment building, 10 floors up..

Well, I put the thing on the car and now it's got 1,700 foot pounds of torque and does 90 at 600 rpms so I'm just wondering if I should be worried.

You should see how fast it goes when it's not in reverse! I tried backing into the garage and now my car is in the basement.
