Old thread, but I am in Meridian, ID next to Boise in case anyone stumbles across this thread in the future, looking for local members in ID.

I have two VR4s 93' and 94'. Also previously had a Stealth TT. I really haven't posted much on the forum, but have been reading posts for a long time. I am a mechanic and welder/fabricator.

I really thought I was all alone over here in this part of the states (might be actually lol)

I'm in Boise. Have a 91 and a 95. Met another owner a couple weeks ago with a first gen sl, haven't seen him in the board though.

Awesome! Good to know there are a few of us here. I had one friend around with a 93' VR4, until I bought it from him lol. I have another friend that just picked up a 97 SL. Recently met a Californian that relocated and will be bringing up his 92' Stealth TT.

Good idea to have two of these things if you ever want to be able to drive one of them.

Are you stock?

My 94' I am currently changing over from 15g TD04 to MHI 16g TD05, 780cc Precision inj, Meth Injection, chromed ecu etc. Bunch of other stuff you would expect with that type of setup.

Yeah both of mine are stock, both run and drive. The 95 will stay stock forever, the 91 will eventually end up with 15g's but I need to finish getting the rest of the car fixed up first and running properly. Damn thing has been a game of whack-a-mole since the day I bought it, fix one issue and 2 more pop up.

What! My daughter is moving to Meridian, my wife and I will follow soon. Was thinking about selling both 97s (VR4 & SL) plus the 92 vr4. Hate to see them just sit most of the year. How often are car meets up there?

Noooo you should bring them! We need more 3s's here in the great potato kingdom!

There are a handful of different car clubs in the area, there's at least one meet up a month.

I am in NW Montana, an hour or two from Sandpoint and Coeur d'Alene. If you guys ever have any meetups or events in the northern part of Idaho you can most likely count me in as I have yet to come across any 3s people in Montana during the few years I have been here.

I have a 96 VR4 with 30k miles and 19ts.

I'm just across the border right now, but I would likely come across for a meet up. Sandpoint is quite close.

93' VR4 we call Mr. Bitchin coming out of storage this year in McCall. Been in there for 5 years unfortunately and time to clean it up and get it back on the road. Bought it new in 93 for the wife and doubt she will ever part with it...

Any shops in Boise experienced with them that could go all thru it? 70k miles and had all its 60k service done many years ago. Stock other than an exhaust system.

i'm in for a weekend meetup near CDA or Sandpoint this summer if you guys are. there's a classic car show first weekend in june too at bonners ferry.
