How much more boost w/Water Injection??

Take a look at my sig for my mods. I am currently running 17psi with ZERO knock on 92 octane. I have adjusted my timing to help with this, but not too much.

I have hit as much as 19psi without any appreciable knock up until about 5k in 3rd under full boost.

I would like to run 20-22psi on pump gas.... so would an alky/water kit net me about 4-5psi???

After running 22psi using a couple gallons of 104 unleaded mixed into my 3-5 gallons of 92, I was AMAZED the amount of power. That would kick a** if I could run that without having to buy race fuel (except for track days).

MagnumForceGTO could probably give u some data... he has similar mods as u and has done numerous dataloggin... with & without his SMC Alky inj...

btw, ur 17psi, no knock run... what was the ambient temp??

Temps

I run around every day @ 17psi, but that's because the temps have dropped to around 50 degrees up here in Portland. Every time I did logs at 17-19psi, it was cold.... I also have pulled timing a bit with my S-ITC allowing me to boost a bit more. At night it's been around 40 degrees or less.

general rule of thumb is that you can add 4-5lbs of boost with alky.

how much was the S-ITC and where did you get it at?
