I just put 445 miles on a tank of gas with a little over a gallon left to go. This is still the same tank of gas I got coming home from Foxwood's Casino in Connecticut and I live in Pennsylvania. Over half that tank of gas was doing 65-85 mph on the way home and I have driven it everyday since Sunday. There was some mild messing around but no 100+mph driving. I was wondering how well everyone else does on gas. This is very impressive to me saying I get the same if not better gas mileage then my old 95 4cyl. Avenger did. It might have had three less gallons of gas but I figured that into everything. VERY IMPRESSED for a 222hp engine!!! So please let me know how everyone else does. Thanks!!!

I got 450 out of a tank once, and tha was from Albuquerque to Denver. I usually got 325-350 miles per tank in my R/T, but after I added the ram air, it went up to about 390-410 with regular driving.

From Cincinnati to Washington DC, I put 505 miles on my 91 r/t, and still hade about 2 gallons left in the tank when I filled her up. I beleieve my "ram air" with blower helped this mileage as well. I get around 18-20 for an average tank with some highway miles.

EliteStreet and Brian E.- What type of ram air, Brand, where did you purchase the intake ?
The intake is the first modification I want to get. I am a new member and was lucky to find this site. I am learning more about my stealth each time I get online and I am wondering where to start to make my stealth faster!

I usually get around 16 mpg, but that's a lot of city driving. I have gotten as high as 21.

My overall mileage after 86,000 miles is 23.25 mpg.

This is mostly suburban driving (nominal stop and go, but not at every block like urban driving would be).

Fo individual cases of long distance interstate driving with speeds of 75-80 mph, I've get about 27 mpg.

93 SL 5-speed.

I have a 91 R/T and the last time I checked my mileage I got 23.7 miles per gallon. This was with mostly highway driving and backroads. I had around 85000 miles on the clock. I have recently installed a K&N air charger (the one for the Eclipse Turbo) and have yet to check for improvement. I also have plans to do a mild ram-air setup. Has anyone ever had any trouble with the ram-air like sucking up water or anything?

my 91 gtsl averages about 22mpg but Im sort of curious to see if the vr4s are that much worse I read an article the other day that said they were lousy compared to the n/a but I find that hard to believe cause on the highway they should do almost as well and in the city this would depend how much you were getting on it im interested cause I think I might have sold my car and will be looking for a vr4 thanks any input from you lucky vr4 and stealth tt owners
