Hey everyone. I am just about set on purchasing a 1st gen vr4, but I do have one question. Is there any way I can get rid of the front black thing on the end of the bumper, like some sort of replacement hood without loosing the other features on the front end such as the italian vents. Thanks, Derek

You can have it painted the same color as the car.

That's about the only idea or fix for that that I can think of as well.

You can get Veilside. I think Veilside only looks good on 1st gens though (IMHO). Nothing exotic, basically keeps the same lines, but it is a tad prettier. Just wouldn't want it on my 95 (going with Bomex)

Take it to a body shop and have them paint it the same color as the car. I had the entire front bumper cover done. I am eventually gonna do the rear and get rid of the black around the license plate also.

Another reason why I like the 1st gen Stealths better than the 3k's. No ugly front bumperette :)

My car is the same way. I was in a wreck and just told them to paint the whole bumper.
