my car is at an aamco station getting the tranny serviced and he's telling me that putting a new ratiator will help keep the trans cooler??? for 300$ any suggestions

i dunno if the trannies in stealths/3000gt's came with a tranny cooler setup in the radiator or not but if not and hes talkin about addin a seperate tranny cooler radiator i wouldnt go for it... thats a rip off price... www.summitracing.com you can buy one for $50 and install it yourself...

is your car an auto? If so there should be a line that runs to your trannie from your radiator. The only way that it would make your trannie run cooler is if your radiator is bad. $300 sounds like a rip off to me.
