My car is leaking antifreeze terribly. It is leaking from right behind the main pulley right above the oil pan. I am assuming that it is the water pump, but I want some more opinions before I just tear into it. If someone could tell me what it is and what is involved in repairing this it would be very helpful.
thank you
Jesse

welp you did say above the lower pully which is the crankshaft pully and the pully above that is the water pump... it could just be a gasket that went bad right there... get a really good look cuz its probably not the easiest thing to change out on a front wheel drive vehicle.
