I'm thinkin about gettin a 3000GT. I would like to get a '94 because I don't like the pop up headlights. Can anyone tell me a way I can take a '93 or lower and get rid of the pop up headlights or at least make them projection headlight that don't pop up as much like this car

it is called head light conversion or something. i am in the same boat as you. i got a 92 VR-4 and i don't dig the pop ups too much. from what i have heard you have to get a 2nd gen hood and lights and it will probably be pricy, but check the thread out for yourself. hope that helps!

I was also thinkin about doin a headlight conversion for my 91' ES, but ud have to buy headlamps, a new hood (or modify the 1 u have) and buy a new bumper. i think thats all thats involved

i can't see either of your pics (one is broken and the other one takes me to some geocity search page or something) but i just thought of something that might help. if you have a first gen 3kgt you should be able to pop the hood and twist the little knobs on the inside of the head lights to lower them part way and give them a cool "lazy eye" effect. the downside to this is if you turn the lights off they will go back down and when they pop up again they will pop up all the way. if you want them to stay "lazy" you have to keep them on all the time. hope this helps.
