I would be more worried about the idling situation. It's like trying to squeeze a small fuel flow at idle out of a garden hose. They will be hard as hell to tune on the low, low end.

Fuel injectors are controlled by electronic pulses, a larger injector will just require shorter pulses to get the same amount of fuel a smaller injector would with a longer pulse.
So far not many fuel management systems have been able to handle more then 720 cc's of fuel, but it has also been brought to knowledge, that with Vpc and any piggy back fuel unit, apex-i's or hks's, you can control larger fuel injectors over the size of 720 cc's.
I am planning on using either a set of 1000's or 1500's, currently have not decided which set I want to stick in, both fit in the fuel rail, but I will probably be upgrading to a larger. Which these are not overkill, and can control an idle just as well as a 360cc injectors.
