Why do the exhaust tubes start round when DOHC ports are rectangle? Is the flange machined to transition?

Not even remotely. Flip your header over and take a picture of the flange which is the part that mounts to the head.
I'm sure the flange is machined to make a transition from rectangle to round but we are curious.

He doesn’t sell them anymore and last time he did he drug out a few sales 2-3 years before delivering so don’t think about it. You can get a single turbo manifold setup from IMR for $3k. Just Google IMR America.
