Ok, so purchased an estate with this 1994 TT Stealth. Husband passed and they have owned it since 1996. 57k miles. Appears all original including all original paint. All the documentation but she can't find the file. He removed the badging on the side and back upon purchase and we can't find where he put them. Can anyone help? Also need a shifter boot and there's a noise coming from the antenna. She started right up with a battery and new fluids but still needs a good cleaning and detail.

When you say there is a noise from the antenna, does it still go up and down? Typically they break and I know you use to be able to get repair for the inside or just a who new antenna. Its pretty common. Most people end up replacing it with a solid one of some type.

How many miles? I would change or have the timing belt changed soon just do to age. They are supposed to be done every 60K or 7 years? I cant remember off the top of my head the age but you 100% dont want to belt to break because it means a new engine.

Paul, it has 57k miles. The antenna does not go up and down currently. They turned on the radio with the car cover over the back quarter panel and it slightly tweaked the antenna. Not sure if it can be bent back or if the gears are stripped out. I'd like to keep it all original.

Is there any place or person that has an extra set of badges for the side/back? Really need those....

Do i install a black or gray shifter boot to match the best? Anyone with a good OEM boot or who has the best replacement?

Thanks!

As for the boot just take it to a leather shop and have them make one it's easier. That's what I did for my car and the leather lasts forever
