I'm going through my fuel system to upgrade/repair at 100,000 miles:

I'm putting in a new Walbro 351 Fuel Pump.

I have already changed the fuel filter 10K miles ago.

I was also thinking about Fuel pressure Regulator and injectors but I have some questions:

-How hard is it to install new injectors and where can I get instructions?

-If I install upgraded (550cc) injectors, will I need to do anything else ? I mean I know I won't realize all the possible gains without and AFC, but can I use them with the stock ECU setup?

-Should I change the Fuel Pressure Regulator? Where? How? What brand?

Thanks for the help,
Jed

I looked there and John Monins site and found info on install, but really not much on what will happen if I upgrade to 550cc injectors and don't change anything else.

The stock ECU will not support 550cc injectors without the addition of a fuel controller like an AFC or ARCII.

With the 550cc injectors and no afc you'll probably run 50% rich or so. Not good. I believe the ECU can handle like 400cc or maybe 420cc but nothing above that without an afc. That's where I'm headed in the next few months (Walbro, S-AFC, 450cc injectors).

Now I am thinking 390cc injectors and a walbro 341 pump (351 wrong number).

How does this sound? Anyone got a good set of 360cc injectors lying around? I'd be just as happy with a low mileage (<50K) set of 360's and a new fuel pump.
