I have a 1992 Dodge Stealth TT and the brake calibers are stopping me from getting new wheels for my car. I got a good deal on some AA wheels from Sears 4 17" wheels for $400. But my brake calibers are to big and the wheels will hit the calibers. What companies make cheap 17"x7.5-8" wheels for our cars. I just ordered Heidfelds from a local shop and they said they will work but the guy at Sears told me his wheels would fit my car too. If getting wheels is a problem(my front and rear left wheels are badly damaged), can I get new brake calibers? How would I go about getting new ones installed?

Thanks in advance.

You just need to make sure they are the right offset for our car. Any "good" wheel shop will know what fits and what doesn't.. Plus, most wheel manufacturers already know what cars their wheels fit on and which ones they don't..

If they're barely rubbing, then get some thin spacers, but that's not really a great option.. just search around.
