How often does your engine fan come on?
Mine seems to be coming on within like 2 minutes of starting the car. And it makes it sound a bit loud. Next i either have lifter tick or belt noises.
What belts can make a ticking noise? and is it possible for them to have a ticking noise?
I had all my serpentine?!?! belts replaced in march-april.

Thanks,
Jeff

most likely your tick is your lifters,it might seem like it is coming from your belts because remember with every rotation(s) of your s-belt you get the tick from your lifters

Try spraying some WD40 on the belts themselves. That took care of my problem.

Belts make noise when they slip. A lubricant, like WD40, will make them slip even more. Spray them with a belt dressing. That actually removes contaminants.

Sounds like your temp sensor for the fan is flaky. If your AC is on, one of the fans will run constantly regardless of engine temp.

No, I never us A/C and only use the heat for the first 5 minutes of being in the car. So should I replace the thermometer when I flush the coolant?
