I would like to use the factory amp in my 94 3000gt sl (infinity system) with a dual headunit xdcpa10bt and I already bought the metra 70_7004 and connected the 14 pin connecter. The issue I'm having is I'm getting nothing to my two tweeters and my front door speakers do you guys have any idea besides running new wires or bypassing the amp I'm trying to go as stock as possible on this car.

Speaker connections are fed thru the amp not the radio plug. This is the correct adapter Metra 70-7003 Receiver Wiring Harness

Make sure you change the radio connector do not use the one you have

If you were using this radio adapter you would nave no sound out of the speakers at all. The adaptor I posted does not have these connections for speakers

I've been posting on this since 2004 at least 20 times check the searches.
THERE ARE NO CONNECTIONS TO THE DOORS OR FRONT DASH SPEAKERS IN VEHICLES WITH INFINITY SYSTEMS. Those connections are located in the Amp output plug only !

I know you have done a lot of work with the factory audio systems in these cars, however my personal experience with both my car and others doesn't agree with the door speaker statement. My 95, and other 2nd gen cars I have worked on, absolutely had connections in the factory radio harness for the front door speakers. The tweeters were the only speakers whose wires were only available at the factory amp output harness.

To the OP, you should try the following:
1) Disconnect the high level speaker output wires from the radio to the 70-7004 harness
2) Connect the blue wire on the factory amp adapter plug to the blue/white wire in your radio's harness (Be sure to use the blue/white from the radio and not the solid blue wire)
3) Plug the RCA's from the factory amp adapter plug into the corresponding RCA pre-outs on the back of your radio

If the factory amp is functional you should have sound from all 6 speakers.

You are correct actually a senior moment. I haven't even played with the audio for years. Actually the last big project was putting a 97 digital climate control in a 99sl and that car was sold in 2008. After that I just put a Montero radio in the car. The car one of two still in the family currently has Diamond audio D971 components with 7" speakers in the doors and dash speakers getting 200w/ch. And a JL audio sub in a smokin box.

No worries, I just wanted to make sure the OP didn't get confused.
