entire new foglight assembly???

when i bought my car, the foglights didnt work, and the guy told me that he didnt fix them because you needed to buy the whole new assembly. is this true???? there is no way to replace the bulb?

Crimp on some bullet connectors if you want to do it right. Or, for a permanant fix, cut off the factory female barrel connector and crimp on a female spade terminal. That way all new H3's will fit with no more modification.

Your way works until you get a new bulb. Then you bend the new bulb's connector till it fits.

Replacing the housing side of the connector means all replacement bulbs just plug right in.

2 years? Really? Then I really need to stop using these high wattage 100w bulbs. They last 6-8 weeks tops!

I might back down to 55w bulbs. I think the stockers are 35w so it's still an improvement.
