Am considering purchasing some Enkei RP01 rims for my '91 VR4. Has anyone had extensive experience with these rims? I like the look but am concerned about the thin spokes being strong enough for such a heavy car.

Also, does anybody know how these rims are manufactured: are they simply gravity cast, pressure cast, or forged?

Thanks for any info.

I haven't had too much time on the rims but am very happy to date. While they only weigh in at around 16-18 pounds depending on size, the metal work is very solid. The spokes have some real thickness to them, they aren't hollow. I have some pictures at

Hey.
I have Enkei RPO1's for sale if you are interested. They are 17 x 8.5 with Nitto 255/45ZR17 tires. I'm selling them for a grand. If you are interested, let me know. By they way, they can support the weight of the car and they looked great on my car.

Courtney =)

What's the weight savings by using the Enkei rims??? I know they're about 16lbs each, but how much do the stock 17" rims weigh??

Travis.
