I'm planning on doing a manual swap and think I got everything I need listed down, but is there a difference between the ECUs from an automatic and a manual for FWD? I don't really wanna spend the money on some aftermarket ECU and would rather just get one from an old manual. Thanks

The ECU's are the same, ATX and Manual. There is a separate automatic transmission computer. They are referred to as TCU or TCM.
