Hey Guys,
You are probably tired of me whining about my Clunky, Anemic, drivetrain, but I finally got it behind me. I found that the rear section of the 3-piece driveshaft had slipped where the 2 diameters of tube meet. This resulted in a clatter and power fade under high-torque loading, i.e. launching.
I located a used shaft from a wrecked '95 TT and picked it up Saturday for $400CDN, ($250US). Bolted it up today and took her out.
Man did it feel good.
Even the vibrations from the out-of-phase u-joints are gone.
life is good again

I'm pretty sure I've got the same problem in the Stealth. Any time I'm trying to put down alot of torque it feels like I'm driving on a washboard road. I'm hoping PST will hurry up and deliver my carbon fiber driveshaft before I get home next month.
