Guys, it seems about 45% of the time I try a mid-high RPM launch, my clutch wont hold (yes, I stop immediately, don't want to smoke my clutch too badly).

After I let it cool off, it's all cool in the gang for driving, but after a few attempts of failing, I don't think I'm going to do that again.

So....does the stock clutch suck that bad?

the stock clutch really shouldn't be used to launch at very high rpms when over 400 crank hp. The clutch just won't hold. The best thing to do is just bite the bullet and buy a streetable clutch that will hold the power better if you want to launch the car or go to upgraded turbos. You could pm a member named moparjim...he knows as much about 3/S clutches as anybody does.
