So my 95 base model 3000gt recently died while I was driving on the highway, a cop stopped, jumped my car and it held a strong battery till about 12 hours later. I then saw my gauge start to drop as I was doing daily errands, my car was accelerating very slowly and after I parked it again and turned it off, it wouldn’t crank. Is this a battery issue? Wiring issue? Or do I need a new alternator? Thanks in advance!

check your battery, check your cables. what i sometimes do is unhook the battery while cars running, if the alt is good it should run for a while. just be aware that it may ruin electronics this way, however i've done it lots and never had any issues.
