I'll say it looks cool. Definatly can see the Toyota Celica influence in the design! Not bad though. It's a major improvement over the past Integra's.
the wing just throws off the lines, or should i say "curves", of the car. there's hardly any shar edges on the car then they drop that boxey ass wing on there, just fucks it up. i hope they get rid of that before production. other than that, i like it for what it is.
Looks like the new civics

whoa the type r lowered thier hp?
what the fuck?? That's not an integra??

CAN'T YOU GUYS RECOGNIZE WHAT THAT IS???

It's an RSX with a wing!!!

POFS!!!

the only way they can get speed out if it is by giving it 6 gears!!! By 2010 Hondas will have 7 or 8 speeds just so they can go 0-60 in 8 seconds as the Vtec continually gets shittier and shittier.
What the heck are you talking about Wraith?

I wish my car had Vtec...variable valve timing kicks ass...

last I heard the RSX replaced the Integra, so I'd assume the new Type-R would look like the RSX...I dont know about 162Hp though, thats wrong. the RSX-S has 200HP, they Type-R should have more than that and maybe even be in the high 13s in the quarter!

dude, you're joking right??

btw. I've got a video of Tiff Needell himself busting on Vtec calling it outdated by BMW (VANOS intake system) and Porsche (VarioCam). It's better than nothing. but SHIT, Honda men thinks Vtec means they can make hp and displacement even lower and still have a fast car....I think not. S2000 engine is an exception though; it's decent.
S2000 doesn't make power until like 8k rpms. that's booty. the v-tec's don't do anything for bottom end either, but there's a chip to fix that, they can adjust when the vtec system works and what not.
oh yeah, a Modified Vtec is kind of a threat..

I was racing around with a Yellow Type R Integra many weeks back... He had the VPC - or whatever it is that lets him control his Vtec - a Flywheel, intake, exhaust, and maybe a few other things. He was quick. But nothing for the Stealth TT (N/A guys might wanna watch out though:D)
Okay, here are some facts. 220 hp. 152 lbs of torque on a 2.0L i-VTEC engine.( Basically a newer version vtec that changes valve timing constantly instead of the On/Off of the old vtec. ) Which gives it a flatter torque curve.

How else are you gonna get 220 hp out of a 2.0L besides turbo, the only other way is to rev really high.
Take ANY engine, 2L if you may. Give it a 12:1 CR and a headgasket and whatever other upgrades it needs, and you'll have over 220hp.

haha...easier said than done. So why cant i take a NA 3kGT, give it some higher CR and whatever other upgrades it needs and have a 300+ hp engine.
My penis just shrank....

I need to buy this one book and then I'll post all the mathamatics involved and see what we get.... Other than that....I dunno, why can't you???
just wondering, anyone know an approximate HP/TQ number on what hollywoods SL was running w/out the juice? he had high CR pistons and a butt load of other stuff.
Mathematically- Yes you can have that engine.

So what you are trying to do is take the 3kGT engine and convert it to what is essentially a M3 engine.
IMO..it is just another overpriced underpowered buzz bomb copy cating every little car on the road today. Honest to God man.....I'ts getting to the point where I can't tell them apart anymore. Looks VERY much like a Celica. Marketing is doing a GREAT job convincing us that these cars are great....because we really have no other alternative in terms of a performace car unless you are Bill Gates. That is part of the reason I refuse to buy a new car....if they keep selling...they aren't going to start making what wer REALLY want. Yeah, it looks pretty cute and I'm sure pretty peppy because of its small size and weight....but I just miss the days of the big loud thumpin power cars.
I'll second the 220 hp mark for the RSX type R. Maybe the 163 figure is for the torque.

As Wrathchild says, they are going to keep making this type of thing if people keep on buying it. The problem comes when people don't buy any sports cars, so they just stop making them. So, it's a dilemma. The demise of the f-body is a definite blow. I am not saying that they are the greatest cars in the world, but I am saying that if people don't buy high-powered sports cars, then the other manufacturers don't want to jump on that bandwagon. Right now the import tuner scene is hot, so we are going to see a lot of those types of cars out there in the next few years. I just hope it is a hiatus for the f-bodies and that they come back as high-powered reawheel drive sports cars again. There is some competition coming back, though, with the 350Z and the RX-8. They are not very conventional looking, though. And that is annoying a large number of people (including Z enthusiasts!). We''ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Wrath, not a bust, just saying, and I know there are exceptions to the rule (minus imports/exotics:cool:) BUT...

As long as Cadillac keeps making the DeVille and the SeVille, I'm game for a new car sometime in the future:D!
Ya the RSX has 160 hp, the RSX-TypeS has 200 hp, and the RSX-Type R or Integra TypeR........(Not available in US) has 220 hp. All three have under 150 lb.-ft. of torque. The RSX is the replacement for the Integra which is no longer being made. They still call the RSX the Integra in Europe though. Type R wont be here till next year if it even shows up.
