I just got done installing my half shaft that I broke a few days ago doing donuts on dry pavement I was real careful not to get any grease on the rotor that I took off. I wiped off whatever little bit was smeared on it but I was pulling up real hard on the dust shield trying to get the hub disconnected and I musta bent it in cause after I dropped the car and drove around I could hear all kinds of scraping. so I pulled over and sure enough the dust sheild was pressed up right against the rotor. There was also a film of grease on the dust shield that I didn't wipe off. Is this gonna cause problems? Cause I'm assuming that some of the grease from the dust shield transfered to the rotor while it was rubbing.

buy a bottle of brake parts cleaner $2 and clean everything up....dont wana chance it

just buy some brake cleaner and clean everything real well it should be fine
