If its the water pump the stop leak will not work. I tried that trick on my mini van I had to replace the water pump, timing belt! to the tune of a $700 repair. When the pump seized it tore up the timing belt, I'm lucky the van was at idle when it went, It would have been a major engine repair otherwise.
Don't risk it with the 3000GT.
