Just got a new clutch in (I couldn't get a hold of you Czarcasmus! If you read this though, I'd still like to get the name of your mechanic for future reference), and I'm wondering what the break-in should be? It's a stock aftermarket replacement. How many miles, what do I do to break it in, etc.

Thanks

1000 miles of stop and go driving (regular daily driving is fine, just don't count highway miles) before you go over 3500 rpm - also, NO launches above 1500 rpm before then

1000!

1000 miles yikes! I've only put 500 on it since i bought it. This could take some time.

9 out of 10 people you talk to will say 500 miles is fine for a break in. But...I'm anal so I'd go at least 800 or so before you run it hard. :) Maybe even up to 1000.(Y not? You've already went this far!)

I broke mine in for about 350miles stop-and-go. Then one day I said "screw it" and dumped it at 3k. It grabbed so tight. I was also told to go about 500 miles. 1000 seems way too long for me.
